Lisa M. Rasmussen

I am a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am Editor-in-Chief of Accountability in Research and also serve as an Associate Editor of Citizen Science: Theory and Practice. My team and I recently completed a five-year National Science Foundation project on healthy authorship practices; you can find more on that at authorshipproject.org.

I teach and study in the areas of healthcare and research ethics, and I’m nearing the final stages of a book on unregulated research areas like citizen science and DIY Bio.
